The Surrogacy Sisterhood Retreat returns in September 2024! You can read the full Retreat flier here.

Surrogacy is a unique and special journey, not just for the intended parents, but for the surrogates privileged to carry a baby for them. We rely on the community of surrogates, who walk this path with us.

The Surrogacy Sisterhood Retreat was established to support surrogates in all parts of their surrogacy experience. Surrogacy is a perpetual journey – so whether you are new to surrogacy or gave birth a long time ago, the Sisterhood is for you. We provide care packages for surrogates who have birthed, and we run Retreats for surrogates to spend time with other surrogates and share their journey.

We’ve run the Surrogacy Sisterhood Retreat in previous years, and we are excited to see it back for 2024. If you are new to surrogacy, you can find more information in the free Surrogacy Handbook, reading articles in the Blog and by listening to more episodes of the Surrogacy Podcast.

Where
The 2024 Surrogacy Sisterhood Retreat will be in Tasmania at the beautiful Ratho Farm near Bothwell, on the traditional lands of the Lairmairrener people.

When

The Retreat will run from Friday 13 September to Sunday 15 September 2024.

Who can come?
The Retreat is exclusively for past, present and future surrogates. Partners, children and intended parents are not included in this event.

Registrations

Registration are open now.

Tickets include all meals and accommodation for the retreat. There may be other expenses for activities, which includes a visit to the world-famous MONA in Hobart.

For some people, the tickets and travel will be financially out of reach. There’s a fundraiser raffle underway to help with the cost and to help surrogates participate. Please buy a ticket!

A very big thank you for helping surrogates attend the Retreat.
