The Surrogacy Podcast Episode 19: Charmaine. Charmaine was a gestational surrogate in Queensland, and birthed James for his parents in 2017. Not everything was sunshine and rainbows, and Charmaine has a lot of wisdom for other intended parents and surrogates. Charmaine had previously been through the process as a surrogate for other Queensland intended parents, and that journey was also not smooth sailing.
Charmaine met her intended parents via the online surrogacy community. She also credits a lot of her experience to the support of other Queensland surrogates, and across Australia.
