The Surrogacy Podcast Episode 43: Shannon. Shannon Garner has been a surrogate, not once but twice for a lovely gay couple in NSW. She delivered babies Elsie and Harry into the arms of their dads, whom she met through a mutual friend.
Shannon went on to write about her first surrogacy experience and is now a published author – Labour of Love, published by Simon & Schuster is available online and in book stores. This is one of the best and well-written accounts of altruistic surrogacy in Australia.
Shannon is thoughtful and generous, and has contributed countless hours to the surrogacy community over the years. This podcast episode is no different – she has a lovely story to tell, and was kind enough to share it with me.
