The Australian Surrogacy Podcast Episode 17: Sara is a surrogate in Canada, for Australian intended parents. She gave birth to baby Logan in January, and traveled from Canada to Australia and spent time with Logan and his parents. She also attend the Australian Surrogacy Conference and supported the Australian Surrogacy Sisterhood Day in Sydney and has a lot in common with Australian surrogates.

Surrogacy is altruistic in Canada, similar to Australia. A surrogate in Canada is often supported to find intended parents by agencies. Intended parents often come from around the world to pursue surrogacy in Canada.

If you’re considering becoming a surrogate, you can read more about it and book in for a free consult with me.

If you are new to surrogacy in Australia, you can start with this post which takes you through the steps depending where you are up to.

You can read more about overseas surrogacy options for Australian intended parents, and you can hear other stories involving surrogacy in Canada on the Podcast, including  intended parents Costa and Rob talking about their experience and relationship with their surrogate in Canada.

Sarah has published a book, More Than Just a Baby: A Guide to Surrogacy for Intended Parents and Surrogates, the only guide to surrogacy in Australia.

You can find more information in the free Surrogacy Handbook, reading articles in the Blog, by listening to more episodes of the Surrogacy Podcast. You can also book in for a consult with me below, and check out the legal services I provide.
